While I was teaching I found the decadent underground of NYC to explore and express my sexuality. Itching daily for more, my home away from home was the Vault, Paddles, Hellfire, TES and Lesbian Sex Mafia.

Sitting in the front row of lectures with my sketchpad and colored pencils, I soaked up all the knowledge being offered to me, like big damp sponge.

Hungry…I just could not get enough!

Being Pre Internet my quest for knowledge meant I threw myself right into the decadence and real time play in NYC without a second thought!

Seeking only the best as my mentors, both Tops, bottoms, Dominas and Doms, I quickly learned and took my knowledge and skill to the next level, presenting nationally.

After 10 years in the scene, I created my own quarterly magazine---Mistress Mine, which was designed to define, promote and educate those interested in the BDSM lifestyle.

It was also the next generation in visual layout (I am a former Art teacher), which led to the new look in kink magazines.
